HOMECOMING 2011 RECAP {PART 3}: GAME DAY

I can't adequately put into words how HUGE Homecoming 2011 was this year. Game day was the icing on the cake. We were having loads of fun before the game even started. Alumni turned out in great numbers and the kids really enjoyed us being there. If you missed it, you missed a real treat. But get ready for next year because it's going to be even bigger and better. Check out some highlights from Homecoming 2011: Game Day.

~PHOTOS OF THE DAY~

Mr. Redding called all the Alumni DMs to the front to introduce them to the band. I got a quick snapshot of them before heading to the game. (Alumni DMs: Bryan Tribue, Rod Z, John Norton, Javarus "Baldhead" Swanigan, and Darren Thompson)

HOMECOMING 2011 RECAP {PART 2}: THE TAILGATE

We kicked off game day with a Homecoming tailgate. Originally planned to be held at Lake Lorna Doone, we changed venues and set up at Barker's Park. Although it wasn't a huge turn out, we made the best of what we had. Everyone ate some good food, cracked a few jokes, got in a few pics, then headed over to the band room to prepare for the game. Once again, thank you to all alumni who came out to the tailgate and helped make it a great day. Shout out to MTA Miara Arnold, Tracey Gordon, and Jonathan Bridges, who grilled for us :-)

~PHOTOS FROM THE DAY~

Group shot. Not sure everyone was ready lol

I was so proud of how the shirts came out. I asked Dominick to show off the shirt for me :-)
